Anita Keller, Korrepetition and Accompanist
of Singers
Anita
Keller studied piano with Prof. Günther Kootz
at the “Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy” academy
of music in Leipzig. She has had the position of an
accompanist to train young opera singers at the “Hanns
Eisler” music academy in Berlin since 1985.
In both 1985 and 1989 she received a prize as special
recognition for piano accompaniment during the “Young
Opera Singers” music competition.
In addition to concerts in Germany, the Czech Republic,
Spain, Japan, and Iran, she has accompanied young
singers during master classes given by Elisabeth Schwarzkopf,
Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Aribert Reimann.
She has also accompanied singers at famous international
competitions, such as the “Prague Spring,”
the “Johann Sebastian Bach Competition”
in Leipzig and the “Robert Schumann Competition”
in Zwickau.
Anita Keller has also accompanied singers for radio
(WDR Köln) and CD recordings (NAXOS label).
