The private academy of art of singing and speech training was
established by Chamber singer Prof. Peter Tschaplik in Berlin
in 1996. His singing-lessons are based on the method of Martienssen-Lohmann
and on the transparent ideal acoustics of the college of art
of singing of Dresden. They comprise the complete repertoire
of songs, operas, oratorios in which a high value is set on
the stylistic differences between the genres. The voices are
used according to their positions. The training of the voice
and the power and art of its representation are an important
part at our school. The self-confidence in stylistic art, the
mode of expressions and the understanding of the text are promoted
explicitly.
A lot of applicants are not disapproved of lack of gift in
entrance examinations, but because of insufficient preparation
for it. Their abilities do not show to advantages. Lacking speech
and moving training often influences the issues negatively.
Most private teachers do not set store by art of presentation.
Here a private academy can complete the shortcomings.
Besides there are a lot of occupational groups that need skills
as performers or a professional way of speaking for their work.
Pedagogical occupations are the best examples. Public schools
cannot take effects in that cases. The PGSB looks at ist second
function at that fields. It wants to offer a high quality in
lessons in which voice and bodily motion are taught together.
